Dumfries

Kilnford Bothy

Client:KILNFORD

purpose: CATERING location:DUMFRIES

The hugely successful Kilnford Farm shop at Dumfries approached Iron & Pine to produce a takeaway unit for them to extend their offering and cater for a grab and go market and to utilise their external seating.

Iron & Pine designed and built a 20ft container conversion to suit the customer’s needs.  The container was insulated with spray foam insulation and lined with hygiene board in line with food safety standards. Two serving hatches were installed to the front of the unit with locking hydraulic rams and a steel security door installed to the container end.

Externally the container was painted grey and mounts were installed for signage. The client was so happy with the product and it has been such a success that we have recently completed an additional 10ft conversion to sit next to the 20ft unit!
