Escape the Ordinary: Unique Holiday Accommodation

Gone are the days of the standard hotel room experience. Today’s travellers are seeking out unique and memorable accommodation options that go beyond the basic amenities. They want holiday accommodation that is aesthetically pleasing, kinder to the environment, reflective of the local culture, and one that provides a unique experience.

As a result, we are seeing an increase of unique holiday accommodation options, from treehouses and yurts to converted windmills and hobbit holes. These options offer travellers a chance to stay in something truly special and create memories that will last a lifetime.

MOST POPULAR TYPES OF UNIQUE HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION:

Glamping: This is a combination of camping and glamour, and it offers a way to enjoy the outdoors without sacrificing comfort. Glamping accommodations can range from simple tents to luxurious yurts and safari tents.

Tiny houses: These small homes are becoming increasingly popular as a way to live simply and sustainably. Often converted shipping containers, they can be found in a variety of locations, from rural settings to urban neighbourhoods.

Unique hotels: There are a growing number of hotels that are designed to be unique and memorable. These hotels may have unusual themes, architecture, or locations.

Homestays: This is a great way to experience local culture and get to know a new place. Homestays involve staying in someone’s home, and they can be a very affordable option.

OUR UNIQUE HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION UNITS

From big to small, our portfolio features a range of beautiful holiday accommodation styles.

For a really wow experience, we recommend the Grande. The Grande is the largest and most popular of our designs as it offers unparalleled space and luxury for larger groups. With two double/twin rooms each with their own stunning ensuites, the Grande also features a spacious and contemporary kitchen complete with dining and living area.

For a more intimate and cosy stay, The Coorie is the ideal space. The Coorie is our smallest luxury holiday accommodation providing the perfect retreat for couples or friends looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Designed to maximise comfort and functionality, the floor to ceiling windows and doors frame and enhance the natural views and bring the outdoors inside.

For inspiration, here is one of our units at Gorsebank holidays.
